A top days entertainment is planned for Super Saturday, which will be held on Saturday, 6 March in Melbourne at the Flemington race course.
Featured races are:
- Group 1 Newmarket Handicap - 1200 metres - open handicap
- Group 1 Australia Cup - 2000 metres - SW&P
- Group 1 Australian Guineas - 1600 metres - 3yo, SW&P
- Group 2 VRC Sires Produce Stakes - 1400 metres - 2yo, SW&P
- Group 2 Kewney Stakes - 1600 metres - 3yo Fillies, SW&P
- Group 3 Thoroughbred Breeders Stakes - 1200 metres - 2yo Fillies, SW&P
- Group 3 Frances Tressady Stakes - 1400 metres - Mares, SW&P
Gates open at 9.30am with the first race run at 11.30am with nine races scheduled for the day. Carparking is available for both VCR members and general public.
Admission prices for Flemington Race Course is Adults $30, Concession/Student $24, Concession/Pensioner $15 and Children under 18 free. There are a variety of restaurants and bars to cater for all types of foods and drinks.
There are free activities for the children including Shetland Pony Rides, and Camp Australia Activities such as tug of war, soccer and face painting, as well as roaming entertainers and a jumping castle. These activities can be found on the east end of the public lawn area.
