The Group 2 Moonee Valley Fillies Classic will be run on Friday, 26 February at the Moonee Valley race course in Melbourne, which is home to the CS Cox Plate.

The Fillies Classic is a set weight race for three year old fillies run over a distance of 1600 metres and offers prize money of $200,000 for entrants.

The winner of the 2009 Moonee Valley Fillies Classic was Romneya, followed by Lamarr second with Turquia coming in third.

Admission into Moonee Valley race course for Adults is $10, Concession $6 and Children 17 years and under free. Plenty of free public parking is available in the centre of the racetrack.  Gates open at 5.15pm with the first race at 6.45pm and the last run at 10.15pm.
